it depends on what you are willing to pay. HKS are a good choice but deep down the wallet,

what sort of power are you aiming for

Most Gtir engine builders use HKS, But any Forged pistons will take more a less what you throw at it, Its not necessary the power your running that blows engines its the badly setting up (detting) that kills your engine.

Try these mate.

Just did a compression test 1,2,3, have 155 psi
But number 4 has 40 psi ,so i think is time for a rebuild a well was planing one in the new year just not so soon .I think a ring or a ring land on the piston is gone .Have a bonus coming in jan so going to order the parts then .Was looking at the HKS cylinder liners because my other engine the block cracked across number 2 and 3 cylinder only $500 = 380 euro .My brother has ROSS pistons in his car and it sounds like a massey Ferguson on cold start also he uses pauter con rods http://www.pauter.com/nissan.htm so have a few weeks to make up my mind thanks lads. I think its looking like HKS or JE 87mm pistons to fit the liners.

I have 86mm HKS pistons in my car cos my bores where mint and caught my ringlands breaking very early on, now i can run 1.5 bar all day long and i love it.

My engines quieter now with HKS pistons than before i fitted them, but i know 87mm pistons are totally different and run different clearances to 86mm (HKS UK told me that)

i have had my rods shotpeened for greater durability i think that if you are spending all that money on machining and parts it seems worth doing for peace of mind
