hi to everyone!
i need some advice from you! i'm writing from italy and in my country is not easy to find sunny gti-r spare parts so i buy many parts on ebay or in uk. i have a sunny gti-r year 92 with many modifications. i use it also on road but my first use if for drag strip. i have about 400 hp at the weel but now i have problem with the clutch.... before i was using exedy stage 1 complete clutch but after 2000 miles (of road and drag) i have changed it becouse it was finished. i have joust bought on ebay and installed a tecniclutch complete paddle clutch after 300 miles of slow run i have tried to make some fast starts but i have seen that the clutch slips (so i think i must buy a new one) so i'm asking you what kind of clutch could be ok for my use and where i could buy it. thank you very much. Marco |

Have they upgraded the ap paddle?I think they list it at about 280lb/ft and that's the usual conservative estimate, so add 20% to that giving about 330lb/ft or so.If you have 400bhp I would think 350-380lb/ft so maybe the ap isn't strong enough.

If you're making 400whp then thats about 490bhp and as such I suspect the OS giken twin plate may be your best bet, it's not cheap, but then if you've built a near 500bhp R you know that already! I think it costs about £800.

and then watch the input and main shafts start a push and shove fight, ending with a hole in the ring, lots of blood and broken bones
